Today was a typical bank holiday in terms of weather. The rain came in torrents making up for the whole of April it seems. Things cleared somewhat for the early afternoon and held on enough for coaching to go on. Although it doesn't look pleasant I'm sure that most gardeners are pleased that finally they'll have some moisture in their turf.
Babe, having washed her car yesterday was desperate as we wound through the back lanes to Chief's place, splashing through numerous muddy puddles, but on inspection there wasn't too much mess.
It's always nice to have a three day weekend though.
