With a washed out Sunday in terms of upcoming cricket matches all that was left to do was watch West Ham United scrape themselves out of the relegation quagmire with a smash and grab raid against Manchester United on the final day of the 2006-2007 Premiership season.
I met Teed at the clubhouse after popping in to see Ma and Pa and regaling them with the latest dispatches, whilst quaffing a cheeky red.
