Tonight saw a massive improvement in the fortunes of our colts sides. Not only did we bowl and field well and leaving a target far more reasonable than before, but our batsmen stepped up to the mark producing the best performance I have yet seen.
The young captain led the way with a fine knock of 23, which had not long ago been a team score, ably assisted by the others reaching 66 in reply. Although defeated our boys can stand proud of their efforts today. Having only had 6 batsmen dismissed was also a personal best for the lads who once again managed to use up the overs.
